FUSED GLASS CLASSES

In addition to creating fused glass items, Creations in Glass is offering small classes that will appeal to both serious and recreational artists, novices, and experts of all ages. Susan Jenkins who has over 7 years of experience in creating fused glass art will be teaching each class. These classes were born out of Susan’s desire to share her enthusiasm and knowledge with others in the hope that it will inspire them to create.

Why Take a Fused Glass Class

As we are all aware there are always online resources to learn about anything however taking an in-person class is ultimately the best way to learn. Taking a glass fusing class with the guidance of an experienced glass artist is key to your success going forward. Keep in mind that when you are first starting out, an in-person class will be less costly than setting up a proper glass fusing studio at home.

What You Will Learn

In our classes we will teach safety, basic fusing concepts (like how glass behaves at different temperatures in a kiln), and we will introduce students to the various kinds of glass that are available to the kiln glass artist.
